While most hospitals tend to be dull and unattractive, this hospital almost feels like a five-star hotel or a home away from home. A lot of glass is used to ensure that ample light gets in the hospital and the artwork is jaw-dropping. Nothing I’ve seen in a hospital before. The floor and walls are adorned with granite and marble. It’s just spectacular.
The Staff
Talk about professionalism and first-time impressions, the team at Angeles hospital look and act the part. The women look professional, are well dressed in skirts and heels. They all wear make-up that is subtle but striking. The men on the other hand wear suits and are always adequately groomed.
All the admitting staff is proficient in English, and they go out of their way to ensure that you are comfortable even as you wait to get admitted.
Reviews
Although Angeles Hospital in Tijuana, Mexico has been receiving many great reviews, not everyone is a happy patient. Leslie from Ohio noted that they have a propensity for overbooking US patients which often means that one might find themselves receiving substandard care as she experienced. She also felt that the doctors had incredible bedside manners, but the supporting staff was rude and in many instances disregarded protocol and orders given by the doctors. They seemed undisciplined and unafraid of any repercussions.
